Parapsychology’s Influence in Marketing with Mark Tadajewski

Mark Tadajewski is the Editor of the Journal of Marketing Management. He is an honorary professor of marketing at the University of York in the UK, as well as the Open University, and Royal Holloway, University of London.

Here he points out that the history of advertising and marketing is deeply intertwined with developments in such areas as Mesmerism, hypnosis, psychical research, Theosophy, New Thought, and parapsychology. In particular, he highlights the role of Harlow Gale in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, a specialist in advertising psychology and also a member of the Society for Psychical Research.

Rethinking the Alien Mythos with Christopher Noël

Christopher Noël holds a Master’s degree in philosophy from Yale University and a Master’s in Fine Arts from Vermont College of Fine Arts where he taught writing for 20 years. He also researches the phenomenon of Sasquatch. The Role of Politics on New Thinking Allowed with Emmy Vadnais and Jeffrey Mishlove

The focus of the New Thinking Allowed YouTube channel follows the pattern established in the original Thinking Allowed television series: philosophy, psychology, health, science, and spirituality – with an emphasis on parapsychology and the paranormal. Throughout our history, going back to 1986, we have almost entirely avoided discussions of current events and, particularly, politics. However, we are living at an unusual historical moment. Society is changing rapidly. Old norms are breaking down.

In this open-ended discussion, Emmy and Jeff address questions concerning healthcare and the environment, as well as the distinctions between democratic and authoritarian governments. One concern is political hostility and polarization. Emmy and Jeff question whether remaining silent during this troubling period is a form of complicity. Improving Mental Health with Chinese Medicine with Nina Cheng

Nina Cheng is the founder of the Chinese medicine company, The Eastern Philosophy, and serves as Communications Officer and board member of The International Association for the Study of Traditional Asian Medicine (IASTAM). She is a graduate student in History of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Graduate School of Medicine with a research focus on mental health in pre-modern China. She is author of Chinese Medicine for the Mind: A Science-Backed Guide to Improving Mental Health with Traditional Chinese Medicine with contributions from prominent clinicians and historians of Chinese medicine psychology from around the world. Josephin Péladan and the French Occult Revival with Sasha Chaitow

Sasha Chaitow, PhD, is a British-Greek cultural historian, author, artist, and lecturer whose work explores the rich intersections of esotericism, philosophy, and the arts. An internationally exhibited artist, she is the author of several books including her translation of The Hieroglyphica of Horapollon Niloos, and Atalanta Unveiled: Alchemical Initiation in the Emblems of the Atalanta Fugiens. This conversation will focus on her book Son of Prometheus: The Life and Work of Joséphin Péladan.

Here she focuses on the Occult Revival of the late nineteenth century in Paris, France. The period brings to mind such names as Eliphas Levi, Papus (Gérard Encausse), and Stanislas de Guaita. The Rosicrucian novelist Josephin Péladan also played a major role in this movement that has been largely forgotten. Sasha Chaitow has made a point of reviving memory of his particular genius.

Is the World Real? with Swami Medhananda

Swami Medhananda is a monk, philosopher, and Senior Research Fellow at the Vedanta Society of Southern California. He serves as Hindu Chaplain at both UCLA and USC and is Section Editor for the International Journal of Hindu Studies. From 2010 to 2021, he led the Philosophy program at the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute in India. He has authored four books, including Infinite Paths to Infinite Reality and Swami Vivekananda’s Vedāntic Cosmopolitanism, and has edited several academic volumes. Swami Medhananda earned his PhD from UC Berkeley and has been invited to lecture at institutions such as Harvard, Princeton, and Oxford. His current projects include two forthcoming books with Oxford University Press.

Here Swami Medhananda shares his journey into Vedanta and reflects on the living relevance of Hinduism’s philosophical traditions. The Naming Problem in Remote Viewing with Dan Graboi

A central focus of the conversation is the “naming problem” in remote viewing and telepathy—how the act of labeling an impression can interfere with recognizing the actual target. They explore how psi impressions often come through in fragmented, low-resolution forms that make identification difficult. Dan shares examples from his own experiments.

Understanding Tarot with Mary K. Greer

Mary K. Greer has been studying and teaching tarot for the last half century. She is author of eleven books on tarot and on magic. They include Tarot for Your Self: A Workbook for Personal Transformation; Women of the Golden Dawn: Rebels and Priestesses; The Essence of Magic: Tarot, Ritual, and Aromatherapy; and Mary K. Greer’s 21 Ways to Read a Tarot card. She has taught tarot for 11 years at the New College of California. She has a master’s degree in English literature from the University of Central Florida, where she first taught tarot in 1974.

Here she describes the history of tarot cards and the various ways they can be used both for personal growth and to help others. In particular, she focuses on the esoteric tarot system used by the Order of the Golden Dawn. Many examples are illustrated from her personal experience.

UFOs and Nuclear Weapons with Robert Hastings

Robert Hastings is author of UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites, and also (with Bob Jacobs) Confession: Our Hidden Alien Encounters Revealed.

Here he reviews UFO sightings at numerous nuclear missile launch sites. In some cases, these sightings were associated with either activation or deactivation of missile launch sequences. He also describes personal encounters he has experienced since childhood with ostensible non-human entities. He suggests that these entities are closely monitoring the development of nuclear weapons.

The Life of a UFO Contactee with Debra Jordan Kauble

Debra Jordan-Kauble was the central figure in Budd Hopkins’ classic book Intruders: The Incredible Visitations at Copley Woods, as well as its 1992 TV miniseries adaptation, Intruders, using the pseudonym “Kathie Davis” to protect her family. In 1992, she revealed her true identity and co-authored, with her sister Kathy Mitchell, Abducted: The Story of the Intruders Continues. That book was republished in a new edition in 2021. Here she reviews the horrific incident that occurred in 1983 when a UFO actually landed in the backyard of her parents’ home, leaving marks on the lawn as well as terrified neighbors. This incident led to many physical and emotional problems. She also explains strange, ongoing interactions with non-human entities, as well as potential government surveillance. Looking back over many decades, she believes that these experiences have been beneficial in her life.

Talking with Your Wise and Well Ancestors with Tamala Floyd

Tamala Floyd, LCSW, is a psychotherapist, consultant, and speaker. She is the first black lead trainer with the Internal Family Systems Institute. She taught at the University of Phoenix and the University of Southern California in Human Services and Social Work. Her work focuses on women’s trauma, mothering, and relationship issues. Cultivating Mental Hygiene with Caroline Cory

The History of Parapsychology and Psychical Research with Nancy L. Zingrone

Nancy Zingrone received her doctorate in psychology from the University of Edinburgh for her dissertation examining the debates concerning he legitimacy of parapsychology. She is joining the faculty of the California Institute for Human Science where she will be teaching the early history of parapsychology and psychical research. She is now a Core Distinguished part-time Professor in the J. F. Kennedy School of Psychology and Social Sciences associated with National University. She has served as executive editor of the International Journal of Parapsychology. She has twice served as president of the Parapsychological Association.

The Hieroglyphica of Horapollon with Sasha Chaitow 01

Sasha Chaitow, PhD, is a British-Greek cultural historian, author, artist, and lecturer whose work explores the rich intersections of esotericism, philosophy, and the arts. An internationally exhibited artist, she is the author of several books including her translation of The Hieroglyphica of Horapollon Niloos, the topic of this video conversation. Her other books include Son of Prometheus: The Life and Work of Joséphin Péladan and Atalanta Unveiled: Alchemical Initiation in the Emblems of the Atalanta Fugiens.

Here she discusses the history of this fifth century Greek manuscript that originated in Alexandria, Egypt. A copy was discovered during the Renaissance that was believed, at that time, to be of great antiquity. It purported to interpret the Egyptian hieroglyphs and was extremely influential in the developmernt of Renaissance emblems and symbols. Subsequent scholarship has revealed that the interpretations of ancient Egyptian writing were largely inaccurate.

Healing and the Nature of Self with Karl Friston

Karl Friston is widely regarded as one of the most influential neuroscientists of our time. Some peers consider him the foremost neuroscientist in history. As a professor at University College London, Friston has made groundbreaking contributions to neuroimaging and theoretical neuroscience. His most significant contribution is the Free Energy Principle, a foundational framework in neuroscience stating that biological systems minimize surprise (or uncertainty) by continuously updating their internal models to predict and adapt to their environment.

From predictive coding and attachment theory to affective neuroscience, meditation, and nonduality, Friston explores how the brain builds models of the world—and how those models shape our experience of suffering and liberation. He discusses early developmental imprinting, the SEEKING system in affective neuroscience, and the possibility of parapsychological phenomena, all through the lens of self-organization and synchrony. Are We Inside a Computer Simulation? with Tom Campbell

Tom Campbell, a physicist, is author of the three volume set, My Big TOE, describing a meta-theory that offers an account of the paranormal, as well as other scientific mysteries. The Larger Consciousness System and Us with Thomas Campbell

Contact Modalities with Reinerio (Rey) Hernandez (4K Reboot)

Rey Hernandez, JD, is a cofounder of the Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research on Extraterrestrial and Extraordinary Experience (FREE). Meditation with Annika and Tristan

Annika and Tristan are two distinct persons occupying a single body. To our knowledge, their case is unique and neither understood nor even described in the psychiatric and psychological literature. They believe that their case sheds light on the nature of consciousness and mind-body interaction.

Unidentified Submerged Objects with Richard Dolan

Richard Dolan is author UFOs and the National Security State: Chronology of a Cover-up 1941-1973, UFOs and the National Security State: The Cover-Up Exposed 1973-1991, A. D. Here he points out that observations of mysterious objects have been reported since ancient times entering or leaving bodies of water. They seem to follow certain patterns, for example responding to changes in human technology, that suggest an intelligence behind their operation. In many regards they resemble UFOs. Operational Precognitive Remote Viewing, AI & the Science of Love with Julia Mossbridge

Julia Mossbridge, PhD, is best known for her pioneering research on precognitive remote viewing, nonlinear time perception, and the measurable effects of unconditional love on intuitive and cognitive processes. Astral Travel with Robert Temple

Robert Temple is author of many books including A New Science of Heaven, The Sirius Mystery: New Scientific Evidence of Alien Contact 5,000 Years Ago, Oracles of the Dead: Ancient Techniques for Predicting the Future, Open to Suggestion: The Uses and Abuses of Hypnosis, and The Genius of China: 3000 Years of Science, Discovery & Invention.

Here he explains that for ten years prior to his astral visits to the Bardo planes, he experienced nightly journeys in which he appeared to be receiving data from a space probe exploring the galaxy for new moons and planets. Eventually, he encountered both a spirit guide and a guardian who accompanied him on nightly voyages into the afterlife. This has continued for thirty years, up to the present day.

Neurodiversity, Part 5: An Apology with Annika and Tristan

Annika and Tristan are two distinct persons occupying a single body. To our knowledge, their case is unique and neither understood nor even described in the psychiatric and psychological literature. They believe that their case sheds light on the nature of consciousness and mind-body interaction.

Here they open up about a painful episode in their life together in which they made a series of mistakes on TikTok and Discord. They apologize to Jeffrey and to audience members who may have suffered in any way because of their past behavior. They describe how they have grown more mature in the years since their early effort in being public about their situation.

The World of Psychedelic Entities with David Jay Brown & Sara Phinn Huntley

David Jay Brown and Sara Phinn Huntley are coauthors of the Illustrated Field Guide to DMT Entities: Machine Elves, Tricksters, Teachers, and Other Interdimensional Beings. Sara Phinn Huntley is an artist whose work has explored the intersection of psychedelics, technology, and philosophy. David Jay Brown has also written several other books including Dreaming Wide Awake: Lucid Dreaming, Shamanic Healing, and Psychedelics as well as The New Science of Psychedelics: At the Nexus of Culture, Consciousness, and Spirituality.

Here they share their personal experiences encountering entities while taking entheogens. They also share stories concerning the various entities that psychedelic experiencers have encountered. They point out that such experiences are similar to those reported by UFO contactees and abductees.

The Path of Souls in Native American Mound Cultures and the Missihuasca Hypothesis with P. D. Newman

P. D. “Danny” Newman is author of Alchemically Stoned: The Psychedelic Secret of Freemasonry, Angels in Vermilion: The Philosopher’s Stone from Dee to DMT, and Theurgy: Theory and Practice – The Mysteries of the Ascent to the Divine. His newest book is Tripping the Trail of Ghosts: Psychedelics and the Afterlife Journey in Native American Mound Cultures. He is a 32nd degree master mason.

Here he describes the many remarkable Mounds built by the Native American Mississippian Cultures, approximately a thousand years ago. These mounds were for purposes of burial, and also for preserving the cultural myths concerning the afterlife. Archeologists have uncovered many beautiful artifacts attesting to the skill and craftsmanship of these cultures. Newman describes the journey of souls. He also explains the use of entheogens and his hypothesis that the native Americans had cultivated an analog of ayahuasca.
